Woke yo feelong like the cold had got worse. Had a got water and lime with honey, there was no lemons. Had massive bowl of bran flakes for breakfast .
Ham mayo sandwich and popcorn for lunch. Banana at break. Travelled through to Edinburgh after work. Went straight to the oriental restaurant in the hotel. Had a sweet and sour chicken. Went out a quick walk , would have been longer but I was actually walking next to a main road. Went back to the hotel and had a frappuccino as I really wanted one on the way down but couldn't because mcdonalds make there's with coffee and a machine. Actually looked for one in a garage I stripped to use he toilet in but it had too much caffiene. The one in the hotel wasn't great to be honest as hey hadn't put enough ice in it.

Week 18 12.0 (3/4)
How far along? 18 weeks today
Total weight gain: put on a pound this week. If intake my starting weight as 11.6 (i think it may have been 11.5 some days) that's around 8lbs.
Maternity clothes? I bought a ridiculously expensive pair of seraphine maternity jeans. Under the bump. I bought a 12 and a 14. The 12 are he better for but the 1r sit higher on the bump which is good. Think I will return the 12. Bought a lovely striped waterfall cardigan by linea. Was on sale! Thought that would be good as a cover up later on. Also bought a pack of two nursing bras from m and s. They seem absolutely fine but I can't bring myself to wear one. I am so fussy about bras though. I really should try and wear one but I hate not having an underwire padded bra!
I also bought a gorgeous scarf from John lewis. It's cream/grey linen with a pink neon border. Should go with most things. I can't think of any others that I bought. This was all online I bought this stuff.
Stretch marks? No not yet. Using a mix of bio oil and mamma bee. Whatever takes my fancy at the time.
Best moment this week: hmmmm. This is tricky. It's been a relatively boring week. Probably going to the play/farse that we go to every year at this time. We were there on Saturday night and it's always a nice sunny day when we go.
Miss anything? Probably smoked salmon still. Really could go a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese.
Movement: No I really want to feel something. I sit very still and try and feel something. There has been a couple of times where I've felt like a nervous tummy all of a sudden. Felt it on friday night when I was waiting for my husband to come back from work with a chinese. I don't know if that was anytime or just wishful thinking. I don't actually think it was anything.
Food cravings: cranberry juice. Love it. That's all I can say I have had a notion for. Oh and flaming hot doritos however i just like them every now and then because they remind me of out honeymoon. Nothing new there.
Anything making you queasy or sick: no but a small bout of nausea sometimes comes over me. Well not even nausea juat that weird imaginary taste that's not really a taste.
Gender: I don't know.
Labor signs: no no
Symptoms: well.mynsyomachnis getting bigger. I think it gets bigger on a Friday lol. I have had quite a lot of uncomfort in my abdomen over the weekend. It's just starting to disappear. Thinks it was a back lash from my poor diet on friday. It felt like a mixture of bladder and bowel pain and I got it when I moved. Think I am going to have to stick to a healthier diet with plenty fibre.

Happy or moody most of the time : I would say I have been moody this week. I have been a little short tempered at work I've noticed. I also have been a bit nippy to one of my colleagues who is actually a good friend. I've just noticed a few u necessary remarks coming out my mouth.
Looking forward to: my 20 week scan obviously. Feeling the baby. Have a marker meeting on Wednesday which I always enjoy as I get to stay the night on a hotel. It's usually a nice hotel however this one is a holiday inn. I'm a bit nervous about driving down though as it's not just me anymore.
Have a horrible cold. So annoyed about it. It's not too bad just now. Hoping it doesn't get worse. I am still a little sore today. Had a large bowl of bran flakes with raisins so hoping that helps me out.

Week 17 day 7
Still tender this morning kept waking up during night too. Think it was because I was checking to see of the pain gad went away. I don't like calling it pain because it's not really pain it's uncomfortable. Anyway I felt like I had a cld coming on top. Start of a sore throat and stuffy nose. Had a smoothie made it with my usual rasp, blueberries and pineapple juice but also added mango. Is nicer without the mango. Had a coffee made with half decaf half caffinated to see if I could maybe do the toilet as I think that's what's causing all the discomfort. I did go but it didn't take pain away completely.
Was hungry at twelve and husband was taking ages to get ready to go to shop so had a banana and a spoonful of peanut butter.
Around 2 I had a prawn mayo open sandwich on organic brown bed. It looks a lot of bread but it was only 100g.
I did some light house work while husband built a desk in the middle room. It's been such a nice day today. Went to argos for a yoga ball and mat for Thursdays yoga. It's annoying as I actually had not these things lying around the house and threw them out not that long ago.
Made venison meatballs and tomato chilli pasta with Phili through it for dinner. Not had it on over a year I think.
The plan was to have chillinheatwave doritos later as u really fancied them but had chocolate and coffee instead. Thought the coffee might help my toilet issues.
Had a cheeky cranberry juice with lime after walking the dog for an hour.

Week 17 day 6 FRESH START
I am really disgusted with myself. All the Eaton mess I ate last night! Loads! Like triple what was pictured. It's ok to have a chinese once and a while but not if yiu follow it with that.
Overeating has made my tummy feel tender. Like something is pushing on my bladder. So I'm going to reign things in from now on.
After a small bowl of bran flakes I had a shower and walked into town to return a cardigan at post office , pick up dinner and a subway. Was a really nice day. Had a subway melt.
Had some chopped nectarine, grapes and s yoghurt in the afternoon. Fell asleep for an hour then took dog a wee walk. Had Balmoral chicken made with black pudding for dinner. Went to a play/farse that we go to every year. I had a coke and maybe had 10 if the crisps that were on the table. I'm pretty sore tonight. Think its all the food from yesterday still. It feels like something pushing on my bladder.

Week 17!! 11.13 (1/2)
How far along? 17 weeks. The weeks are flying.
Total weight gain: around 8lbs
Maternity clothes? I really want to buy another pair of the next jeans but they are £32 .
Stretch marks? Not yet. Fingers crossed. Still using mamma bee.
Best moment this week: scan on saturday. Baby has nice long legs and a very fat tummy which measured a few days bigger than the rest. A wee budda. The woman who did the scan knows the sex aswell! Hearing the baby's heartbeat at the midwife was so good too. It was instant relief hearing it.
Miss anything? Mmmmm nope. Actually smoked salmon. I miss having that on a bagel with cream cheese.
Movement: no not yet. Unfortunately
Food cravings: I wouldn't say cravings exactly but have been making fruit smoothies with frozen fruit and pineapple juice this week. Really liking tuna mayo sandwiches however I've always been a big fan of a tuna melt.

Labor signs: no
Symptoms: Boobs are still sore and massive. Mid wife said you can see my uterus. My belly is getting bigger. I am getting weird pains in my stomach. Like at the start of he week it felt like my bladder was sore. Then towards the end I have been getting a pain in my backside like my old period pains.

Week 16 day 6 scan
Week 16 day 5 prom Fri 20th
Lunch was at a meeting so horrible canteen sandwiches were put on. I eh had a bout due the sandwiches tgat are pictured. Had a meal prom tonight. I didn't take photos of it as it wouldn't of been appropriate. Had carrot and coriander soup, scirly chicken and sticky toffee pudding. I had to leave straight after pudding to pick husband up from airport. He had some Dutch fizzy sweets that I ate loads of.

Week 16 day 4 heard heartbeat (75-3)72pp
Took my smoothie in the car on way to work. Had to have the carrot cake muffin at break as bosses husband had made them especially. Reay fancied a homemade egg roll for lunch. Had prawn mayo and a packet of crisps instead. Had a midwife appt this afternoon. Got to hear heartbeat. So reassuring.
Had a snack when I came home. Had m and s fruity curry chicken breast fir dinner. While it was cooking I may have devoured several pringles. Took dog out then ate loads of rolos and buttons. A whole sharing pck of rolos !

Week 16 day 3 (42-2) 40pp
Aaaaah I would of had such a good day of I had just now had the birthday cake. In terms of ww I would have had 42-2 40pp so not too bad to be honest. Made a nice big juicy smoothie for breakfast. Had a meeting just before break then I had a yoghurt and plum. Was a colleagues birthday so had a bit of cake. Had a veg sushi for lunch with a packet of crisps. Thought I should have salmon for dinner as I should really be making the effort to eat more of it. I bought a m&s micro meal. It had an actual piece of raw salmon in it so don't feel cheated. Got some reduced price carrot ans swede mash to go on the side. Had choc trifle for dessert.

Week 16! 11.11 exactly
How far along? 16 weeks
Total weight gain: 6 lbs. Was 11.11 this morning.
Maternity clothes? I ordered some leggings and tunics/Tshirts from next which came today. The Tshirts and legging will be good if I get a place on the yoga class that I'm on he waiting lost for.
Stretch marks? Still using mama bee and sometimes bio oil. I think the mama bee may be giving me spots though .
Best moment this week: while I was in the bath on saturday morning I noticed that between my hip bones and down near my pubic bone there is a bump forming. It looked really alien like at first. It's a bit off centre too.
Miss anything? Nope.
Movement: I wish. Can't wait to feel something. Sometimes I lay still and see if I can feel anything. Think it will be nearer 20 weeks by the time I feel anything.
Food cravings: cranberry juice. Don't know if it's a craving but I am drinking loads of it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: no

Labor signs: no
Symptoms: the sickness feeling came back on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On saturday I actually slept for a few hours in the afternoon.

Week 15 day 7 healthier
Got up so late this morning 10 am. Was having this whacky dream that someone came into my house ( was not my actual house in the dream) and left a note on my wardrobe while I was sleeping saying I had breached some sort of rule by leaving a box of (bull clips?) Outside my lock up - they weren't even mine. They then left my water running downstairs along with having my irons switched on with bags and boxes they had taken from my lock up. So weird.
Anyway I had a decaf cappuccino with a nutrigrain fir breakfast. Wrote a shopping list. Made an egg sandwich. Sat in the conservatory setting up my computer for marking next month. Didn't make it to shop. Made a drink from frozen raspberries , blueberries and pineapple juice. Dinner was roast veg goats cheese and black pudding salad. Took dog out fir an hour. Watched little fockers and had two chocolate bars.

Week 15 day 6 saturday treats
Felt pretty sick this morning. Had a really lazy morning. Had Had a bath at 12. Felt a bit better after that. Noticed in the bath that an alien looking mound has appeared above my public bone where it is usually concave between my hips when I'm lying down. It's sitting off centre and looks weird. It's my womb moving up I think. Had egg sandwich for lunch followed by rolos. Slept all afternoon on sofa until after 5pm. When I woke up there was a small pile of dog sick on the couch next to s sleeping dog. Yuck. Walked dog for ten minutes. Ordered an Indian for delivery. Walked dog for 30 mins. Watched Eurovision song contest with a large cranberry. Then I had tea and a double decker.

Week 15 day 5
Activities day so out for lunch. Been feeling sick all day. Had tuna melt for lunch. I was pretty thirsty by the time I got home as I hadn't had my normal litre bottle of water fir lunch. Dusted, hoovered and cleaned kitchen after dinner. Just gad oven fish and chips. Before it I had some bread with balsamic and oil. Then watched the secret with some rolos.

Week 15 day 4
Toast again this morning. Really should be having bran flakes, it's just not as appealing as toast. The student English teacher brought in coconut chocolate fudge type thing. I had a slice and a bit with morning break tea. Lunch was a mexican sandwich with a fruit platter. Fancied tomato soup for dinner. Went for a juice in asda with a colleague and picked up a crusty loaf, more cranberry juice (I am loving it just now) and raspberrys. Looked at the cakes for a bit but I was feelong a bit sick today. At least I felt a pregnancy symptom. Ate a half slice of the crusty loaf with balsamic and olive oil while waiting for soup to heat. Yum.yum. Was so tempted to go back for more bread after my soup. I stopped myself though. Had a decaf and double decker. Then took dog out. Came back had a few raspberrys and a cranberry juice while watching he final in the club that I can watch as I have caught up with real tv now.

Week 15 day 3
Weight was down to 11.10 and something this morning. I've eaten a lot of fruit today. I did eat some cracker crisps that were going g round the staff room at lunch today which aren't pictured. Got downs test rests today. It gave an actual risk factor. Came out as 1 in 48943 ( or something like that). I'm quite relieved. Walked the dog 2.7 miles. Weather is still nice.
I had filled pasta with pesto and salad and my camera hasn't saved the picture. Grrr. That's happened more than once recently.

Week 15 day 2 a lot of fruit, weigh day (51-3)48
Was actually good today until I ate some cadburys buttons at night.the muffin was made my bosses husband so couldn't not eat it. Hsd m and s micro balti for dinner. Watched in the club until 8, it's ironically about pregnany women. Took dog out at 8 when dun had gone down. The weather has been lovely the last few days.

Week 15 ! ! ! 11.12
I was 11.12 and something this morning. I'll weigh properly tomorrow as I did have an extremely bad day yesterday so may be food weight. Was up at 4am this morning to give husband a lift. Was v foggy..when I got home I had a shower then a coffee made with half a teaspoon of caffinated and half decaf. Really needed the pick me up. Thought there was no point going back to bed. Got to work at 7am which was good as I have a lot of reports to do for friday. Had a large fruit salad at break. Ham mayo sandwich and apple for lunch. This was where I was naughty. I had two mini snowballs at 141 cal each that were being passed around. They were lovely. Had a goats cheese and roast veg salad for dinner followed by a cadbury trifle with several buttons on top. I have been fine today a apart from the snowballs. I've defiantly had 5 a day.
How far along? 15 weeks
Total weight gain: I think it's about 7 lbs but I will confirm tomorrow. I have had another indulgent weekend t. Was 11.12 ish this morning
Maternity clothes? I'm feeling my jeans are a bit uncomfortable. The maternity jeans I had got from next are over the bump so a bit ott for just now. Bought a pair of under the bump from next which are basicly elasticated waist jeans. I'll just have to live in them for the next month. Also got a pair from new look which are way to big just now but keeping them as I will hopefully fit into them at some point.
Stretch marks? Nope, I stocked up on mamma bee on saturday. Bought two tubs from boots. The first tub is almost finished.
Best moment this week : husband was home for weekend.
Miss anything? No I can't say I am.
Movement: no no. Think it will be weeks before that happens.

Symptoms: Boobs not as sore. My left leg goes numb at the outside thigh when I lie on my back reading at night. It's like there is a cool draft on it. Don't. Know of its a pregnancy symptom. Bought a pregnancy pillow at the weekend. It encourages you to sleep on left side but I was waking with a sore hip during the night with it.think I am really supposed to start sleeping on my left side now.

Happy or moody most of the time : I would say happy about general life but worried about pregnancy. I feel like I am not pregnant and really want a scan so I know everything is ok.

Week 14 day 7 can I start a fresh again
I have been absolutely terrible today. Snacking loads. Dinner wasn't as planned either as husband accidently left a frozen pizza out of the freezer sp. We had to use it. We had it with the most disgusting chip shop chips.
My husband has.had a clumsy day. He smashed a little.dish that is part of a 3 part set for sauces, dripped my chocolate trifles (I am.really icd about the cream on them not being mushed up ) then we realised he had left a frozen pizza in the hall afyer we came home from shop lol. I did eat some fruit while washing my fruit for a fruit salad.

Week 14 day 6 shopping
Had a herby breakfast of bran flakes. Was down to 11.11 and a half after eh. . I went to the toilet this morning. I picked up a parcel.of maternity jeans from new look this morning which are massive . I've kept them as I will grow into them no doubt. Headed into town to get a pregnancy pillow as husband insists I'll need one. Got some more mamma bee butter. Al.so got cooling foot lotion from body shop. Last weekend when my parents were here I really wanted some leg gel. The sbc is the best but it's got some natural remedies in it that I am scared to use when pregnant. We went for lunch at coast to coast. Was expensive and not brilliant tbh. Had nachos to share then I had the duck noodle salad which wasn't that nice.
When we got home I had a tea, trifle and double decker. Then slept for two hours lol. Also had a bit of mucas which I was worried about. Think it may be from last night though. Not sure but I'm worried. Can't wait for scan in a fortnight.
Went a 2 mile walk with dog and I stopped in a coop and got mango. Husband had a toastie and I was going to not eat anything. Ended up having beans on toast.
Today could of been a lot worse food wise.

Week 14 day 4 5th of may husband home for weekend!
Had healthy bran flakes for breakfast. Before lunch I ate loads of maoam sweets. I mean loads. More than what was pictured. Had ham salad sandwich for lunch. Had bought and m and a curry for tonight's dinner yesterday but I fancied a cheese toasty instead. I made it with three slices of bread.amd loads of cheese. While waiting to leave to pick husband up I ate two chocolate trifles! What am I doing!

Actually had a small glass of pineapple juice before my porridge this morning. Was doing ok but I did devour the full bag of twirl bites this afternoon. I won them in the raffle last week. I had a bit too much beans with my oven fish and chips. Walked the dog 3 miles tonight.

Week 14 day 2 - not quite as healthy as planned 11.10
11.10 this morning.
Eh . . . I'm pretty embarrassed about my lunch choice today. I was so good this morning. Had a pint of iced water while getting ready. Porridge with raisins , honey and cinamon for breakfast. Had an in service day today so could wear jeans. My skinny 12L jeans are tighter than my 12R. All that was clean was he 12L and I had to leave the top button open. I resisted the scone at morning break and had an apple. I did eat a few cadbury éclairs which I wasn't going to photo but I ate them so . . .
Then we made our lunch choice. I usaly always go for a panini or sandwich and ask for no chips/crisps. Today (my supposedly fresh start ) I ordered a triple decker sandwich and I ate all my chips plus someone else's. I actually though to myself, I will just have a naughty dinner and start again tomorrow. Then I remembered this is supposed to be about nutrition.
I went for a coffee after work in asda. I say coffee , I actually had two cartons of sugar free ribena (already drank 750ml bottle of water throughout the day) . Came home and had healthy chilli which was in fridge and a fruit salad.
Walked 3 miles with dog then I eh . . Had a little chocolate trifle.

Second trimester week 14
I am 14 weeks pregnant today. Feel like I can finally put it down on paper/screen , didn't want to jinx it before. The first trimester food diary is on the bridesmaid diet blog. I am supposed to be a bridesmaid in September however I am due 31st October. . . .
I feel like I have been so unhealthy the last week or so and I need to start eating as healthy as possible now that the sickness has subsided . Within reason obviously , dessert is still a must! need to make sure fibre is included in my diet. I was 11.5 the weekend before I found out I was pregnant as that as when we tried on the bridesmaid dresses. Over the last week or two I have been going between 11.8 and 1.11 which isn't too bad to be honest. I really don't mind putting on weight as long as it's pregnancy weight and not because of my bad diet. The aim from now on is to try and be as balanced as possible for health reasons.
It was round about this weekend 3 years ago that I started the wedding dress diet so this is a nice time to start this blog.
I think I should be putting half a pound to a pound on every week now. I have 181 days left of the pregnancy (26 weeks)

Total weight gain: I think it's about 5 or 6 lbs but I will confirm tomorrow. I have had an indulgent long weekend though. Was 11.10 ish this morning
Maternity clothes? I bought a pair of jeans from next a few weeks ago but no where near ready to wear them.
Stretch marks? Nope, I have been using burts bees mamma bee shea butter since week 10 on my tummy and boobs.
Best moment this week: parents came up for long weekend.
Miss anything? Not really as I am.enjoying tea again amd can drink decaf coffee. I would like a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. I was having that a lot before I fell pregnant.
Movement: no no. Think it will be weeks before that happens.
Food cravings: No. I still really enjoy iced water. I have never drank so much water in life.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anymore. Think I am over the sickness feeling however the smell.pf garlic from people is still disgusting.
Gender: not planning on finding out anymore . . . I may change mind though.
Labor signs: No.
Symptoms: Boobs are still sore if I touch the nipple. I have been getting a lot of sharp pains in my left side underneath my hip bone and sometimes on the right. From what I have read it sounds like round ligament pain from everything stretching. The bottom of my back was sore yesterday but think that was from all the walking over the weekend.
