Halloween - 40 weeks! 14.5 (7/8)

Co dined loads of sweet treats tonight. More than what's pictured! Also had two tunnocks tea cakes.
Met abi for coffee at m and s with her baby in the afternoon.

How far along? 40 weeks ! I am finally here

Total weight gain: 3 stone! It's more than I would of liked but I am not too bothered.

Maternity clothes? Same as normal. Wear navy or black jeans with usually a strip top or cardigan and tshirt.  Change into hareems as soon as i am home.

Stretch marks? No. I am praying that none appear this week.

Best moment this week: hmm Mmmmm

Miss anything? The ability to walk more than a mile

Movement: feel movement all of the time. The past couple of weeks I have had to sometimes move onto my big ball to sit just to give baby some extra room to move and give me some comfort.

Food cravings:  I had a notion for blueberry muffins this week. It's only because I seen a picture of them.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm fed up woth chocolate. However still earing it!

Gender: don't know.  Still thinking boy.

Labor signs: well.... last night I woke up at 2 am with really strong period pain which felt like ot was coming from my back and my stomach was tight. Then it happened 20 minutes later. Then it started happening every  10 minutes. I thought I was in the early stages of labour. So I read my book and started timing the contractions. Every 9 minutes I would get a 40 sec contraction. Then between 330 and 4 it took 20 minutes. I then fell asleep..so it all stopped after about an hour and a half. So weird. I now think I know the kind of pain a contraction will feel like.

Symptoms: feeling pressure in my pelvis. The false labour last night. Spots on my bum. Seem to have a a big lump/in grown hair on my personal area which I am trying to get rid of with savlon.

Belly button in or out? Still in

Wedding rings on or off? On but tiger than normal

Happy or moody most of the time : happy

Extra hour -longest day ever

We gave the dog a haircut this morning. She wasn't really needing one just now but she will do in a few weeks so now she will go 7 or 8 weeks.
Went to tesco after an egg sandwich and 2 satsumas. We went to tesco for stuff for dinner. Had a coffee and muffin. We dusted and hoovered the upstairs  Husband played his computer while I watched don't trust the bitch in apt 23 on the bed next to him. I then went for a sleep. I've been doing that a lot lately.
Woke up after 5 hungry. Ate 2 mini mars for the tricker treaters. Ended up ordering pizza. I had 5 slices. Walked dog. Washed dog and cleaned bathroom quickly. Cleaned kitchen at night while husband watched gran prix

Late start

Didn't get out of be d until after 11 am . Cleaned living and dining room,  bathroom before showering at 2.30. Watched you tube sacconejoly and hunted in the afternoon. Had chinese for dinner. I ended up eating philadelphia truffle mix which I quickly made.  Ate a lot more than pictured.

Thurs 27th lazy day

Was supposed to be meting J for coffee this afternoon but I cancelled. Just couldn't face another outing at garden centre after yesterday.  I also ate 6 quality st and dome fruit pastels on top of what's pictured.

Wed 26th

Went to garden centre fir lunch to met nct group. Wasn't appropriate to take pic. I just had a tuna melt. Also met girl from my nhs Antenatal at 2 and had carrot cake and tea. When I git home I ate some quality st. Felt so sick. Had m and s curry for dinner with pakora. Was not felon brilliant.

39 weeks the end is near! 14.4


How far along? 39 weeks ! Could this be the week.

Total weight gain: was 14.4 (1/2) so 40 lbs

Maternity clothes? Again wearing navy blue or black jeans when out then changing into hareems when home

Stretch marks? No none.. .  

Best moment this week: we got to see that baby was doing well at a scan just this morning. Last night I left for hospital at 1045 as I had felt reduced movement all day. They just hooked me up to ctg for half an hour. Everything is fine however by the time a doctor sees me.etc we didn't leave until 2am. Anyway because we went in last night it meant we had to get a scan this morning. All is well. They estimated that baby is 7lb 4oz.

Miss anything? Being able to move freely.

Movement: lots of movement under the ribs and when I sit down. When I went for the scan this morning baby had moved positions. Spine had been on my right but now it's on left. Think that may be why I felt reduced movement yesterday.  Plus we were busy yesterday.  We vaxed the carpets in dining room and bedroom. Then went so husband could give blood.

Food cravings:  chocolate.  Today I have eaten so much. I finished my lindt christmas chocolate that I got from costco last week. Then after I did the ironing tonight o ripped into a box of quality st

Anything making you queasy or sick: no

Gender: Still think it's a wee boy

Labor signs: tightening of the stomach.  My hips are sore and are getting worse.

Symptoms: I have developed spots on my bum over the last couple of weeks which are getting worse. My punic bone/pelvis area are getting more tender everyday.

Belly button in or out? Still very much in!

Wedding rings on or off? They are getting tight this week

Happy or moody most of the time : I am happy

Late night at hospital

Got up very late, vaxed the dining room.amd bedroom. Husband gave blood for the first time. Had pizza for dinner. I actually ate 6 slices. Took a late night trip to hospital as I was concerned about reduced movement.

Hair cut which took 3 hours

Same weight as yesterday. Was up at 6 am.  Had a cup of tea and breakfast bar. Went back to sleep at 8.30 until after 1030. Grabbed an apple and moments biscuit before going to hairdressers . Appointment was at 1130. Didn't get out until after 230!
Had a cheese toastie for late lunch followed by two tunnocks teacakes! Watched hunted and a sacconejoly you tube video. Made meatballs for dinner. Had 4 lindt chocolates after we walked dog.

Lets try an healthy last 2 weeks

Let's make this 2 weeks healthy. As of this morning I have officially put on 3 stone! I am going to put pics of what I eat and my weight each day for the next two weeks.  Felt so sick last night.



How far along? 38 weeks! 2 weeks to go

Total weight gain: 3 stone! I was 14.6 (3/4) this morning

Maternity clothes? clothes are limited. Only really comfy in hareem trousers change into them. As soon as I can. Under the bump jeans are too uncomfortable to wear.

Stretch marks? No not yet. Fingers crossed I don't get any.

Best moment this week:  had a nice day out in aberdeen with my mum. Went to see girl.on the train at cinema.

Miss anything? I really miss being able to walk where I want for exercise.

Movement: loads of movement. Especially under the ribs.

Food cravings:  Anything sweet.  Really fancied quality st this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick: no not really.

Gender: still think it's a boy.

Labor signs: feeling loads of pressure down below and keep getting shorts harp pains that stop me bones down below are sore at times.

Symptoms: general unable.to move properly.  Pressure, sharp pains. Had physio on my leg for nerve pain..last Monday and today. It's a tendon that's very tight and aggrivating the nerves. She massages the tendon to loosen it. Very painful when it gets massaged. I've been left with bruises.

Belly button in or out? Still in.

Wedding rings on or off? On but I can feel they are getting tight.

Happy or moody most of the time : happy

Mums birthday

Had a lie in this morning before getting up at 9. Had a breakfast bar and dome fruit fir breakfast. Another rainy day. Made us dome sandwiches and crisis fir lunch. We played exploding kittens all afternoon and ate several quality st which my mum picked up on her morning walk to morrisons in the rain. My dad arrived at 2. Went out fur dinner. I had haddock goujons and then creme brule. Plated some more exploding kittens tonight.

Day in aberdeen

Hsd a breakfast roll when we got up.  Got the 1133 bud into Aberdeen.  Had a walk round the shops then had coffee and s scone.  We went to see 1540 showing of girl on the train. Got out at6 and went fur an Indian.  Had a couple if poppadoms , a bangal tiger curry with rice and naan . Got train home. Was a nice day out.  Didn't picture my curry as it wasn't appropriate..

Mum.arrived

Went for a swim this morning. Had a tuna melt bagel for lunch then headed into Aberdeen to meet friends for coffee. I had a massive slice of cheesecake and tea. Once home I had pasta pesto for dinner. My mum didn't arrive until after 9pm. I had a couple of glasses.of non alcoholic wine amd some crisps. Not too many crisps.

Cleaning

Got up at 6.30 as couldn't get back to sleep after husband left for work. Had breakfast ( porridge, raisins,  cinamon and honey).  At 7.30 I went back to bed until 11 lol. Got up watched coronation Sr.  Got ready had lunch ( cheese pesto bagel). Then about 1.30 started cleaning. God it was exhausting. My mum us coming tomorrow so had to get prepared for that. I had a wee snack before going to supermarket. Cleaned kitchen. Had another snack and a relax for 1hr before husband came home. Double burger and corn on the cob fir dinner. Walked dog. Washed dog and cleaned bathroom while husband hoovered upstairs.  Finally had my tea and shortbread but didn't really enjoy it as my peripheral vision was blurred at the time. My vision in my right eye dud that twice tonight.

37 weeks! 21 days to prepare/train for arrival

I have been so so tired. Didn't get any exercise at all yesterday as I sat around the house all day. On saturday I had taken the dog a short walk and gad to get my husband  to come and pick me up as I had shooting pains like in my bladder/groin kind of area. 

I went swimming this morning.  Did 40 lengths. Came home grabbed an apple and went to the physio.  She massaged the side of my leg as the tendon there seems to be what's causing nerve pain.

I had a cheese and pesto bagel before heading into work to collect sone belongings. I had a nectarine and moments biscuit when I got home. 
Made maggi morrocon Chichester fir dinner. Had two pieces of chocolate shortbread fir dessert. Took dog a 30 minute walk with husband.  Very busy day compared to the last few. 



How far along? 37 weeks! 


Total weight gain: eh around 38lbs . Was 14.2 this morning. 



Maternity clothes? Living in hareem trousers in house and slipping into maternity jeans if I need to go anywhere.


Stretch marks? No surprisingly. 


Best moment this week: hmm. I can't think if one.


Miss anything? The ability to get up and down without having to be careful of my tummy. Being able to walk mire than a mile.


Movement: loads. Last night in fact he was going crazy for ice an hour while I was in bed. Can really feel him under my ribs.


Food cravings:  still loving sweet things. Although when im in shop choosing a sweet thing everything sounds sickening.  Think I eat out if habit. 


Anything making you queasy or sick: no


Gender: Still think it's a boy.


Labor signs: 

Feeling loads of pressure and tightness.

Symptoms: una to walk because if shooting pains in what feels like my bladder.Tightness like braxton hicks. Constantly having to pee 

Belly button in or out? Still in!


Wedding rings on or off? On but have felt them a bit tight a couple if timed this week.


Happy or moody most of the time : dim feeling anxious as it's approaching due date. Also had it confirmed today that I have group b strep . That just adds new worries.

Healthy last few weeks

Was reading about weight gain over pregnancy and it said you shouldn't really put on anymore by now. Also that 2 and a half stone is normal. If you feel that you have put on too much yiu still have a few weeks to eat nutritious, high fibre food. I have out on a few extra pounds over the 2 and a half. So . . .   I could have a nice healthy 3 weeks.

I have been do so lazy today however managed not to over indulge.

Enjoy the next few days then a few weeks healthy eating

Aaaaah another chocolate binge. Was so tired this morning so had a very lazy day. Was up at like 4.30 am. Dosed back off to sleep around 6.30 7. Didn't get up til 1030.  Had an hour long bath. Didn't get dressed until 1pm. Went to marks and spencer fir lunch and took a top back to new lol.  Husband came home from work as ge felt unwell.  Had a wax at 4. Watched blackfish a documentary about orcas at sea world

Thurs book club and no more perfect day

Forgot I had a book club meal tonight. I had the bread roll . Was so hungry. Had lasagne woth salad and caramel sponge pudding. It was ok, nothing great. Was at Mia a more which is usually really good. Didn't get home until 1030. So late. Also didn't take pics of dinner.

Shake it off. 10 perfect days (51-4) 47

So the last two days I've binged on chocolate at night. Felt awful last night. Really ill. I think it was the chocolate I binged on, ate more than what's pictured . The thing is I think I am genuinely hungry and chocolate isn't the way to go. I shoukd choose fruit instead.
All i need to do is have 10 perfect days where I eat fruit whenever I fancy. In these days I need to

Have 40 something pro points a day, rest made up of fruit.
Do 60 active minutes a day on fit bit  or a swim and at least 30
If hungry and already had something sweet , eat fruit

That's all I need to do.

Mucked up again

Did 10 extra lengths of the pool this morning because of last night's chocolate.  I can't let it ruin healthy October.  well that's what I thought this morning until u ate loads of chocolate at night!
Came hone from swimming , had a dback then fell asleep until 1. Had cheese pesto bagel for lunch then chocolate and a coffee. Took dog out. Made chilli for dinner. Then ste loads if chocolate tonight aaaagh

36 weeks ! 14.0 (3/4)


How far along? 36 weeks! One week to a full termbaby!

Total weight gain: eh . .... I was 14.0 stone this morning. So around 36lbs. I really don't think I should be putting on anymore! 

Maternity clothes? Living in hareem trousers in the house until. I need to go out somewhere and I am.thrn changing into jeans and one of my strict long line cardigans.

Stretch marks? No not yet. Is there a chance I can get away with no stretch marks? Don't think my mum got any when she had me

Best moment this week: making the decision to stop work early. I was off sick this week and today I have officially started my maternity leave. Was going to try and work until.the holidays on the 7th but have went off now. Best decision ever.

Miss anything? I miss being able to do things without thinking. Such as bending, getting put of bed, changing position on bed and going for a long walk.

Movement: yes movement all of the time. I have to move from the couch onto my ball sometimes as I'm getting kicked in the ribs. He obviously needs some more room.

Food cravings:  well i still love chocolate. On friday I actually bought loads from home bargains woth full intent of eating too much.

Anything making you queasy or sick: no

Gender:
Still think it's a boy. Although I had a dream it was girl last night and I delovered it woth just gas and air. Although this baby did turn into a shih tzu.
Labor signs: pressure around bladder and bowels. Tightening of tummy.

Symptoms: can't walk. Very far at all. Been swimming a lot the last week. Trying to go.most days bow that I am off.

Belly button in or out? Still in. Can it stay in?

Happy or moody most of the time : I'm. Pregnant So I am happy

Looking forward to:  hmmmm . I have a midwife appt on Wednesday. However I don't know if im necessarily looking forward to it. I am.lookong forward to mum. Coming up to visit next Wednesday!



I was ok today until I attacked the white chocolate at night. Went for a swim in the morning. Had a snack while I watched sam faiers baby diaries. Had cheese pesto bagel for lunch. Took dog a half hour walk. Went to friends house for a cuppa. Came home and had a large slice of chocolate cake. Biryani for dinner. Went to tesco woth husband. Had some grapes. I just took a picture of the bunch. I was just picking at them. Then had a coffee and white chocolate while watching only connect. Aaaaah. 
I've been doing 30 lengths when I've been going swimming.

Healthy oct

Long lie this morning.Went into town woth husband to get a bra and things from boots.  Like piriniam oil 🙈, maternity mats etc. Had lunch at m and s cafe. Had sausage toastie. We picked up some stuff in the food hall. Had coffee and slice of choc cake when we went home. Walked dog to coop. Husband made biryani for dinner. I had a tea and some skinny popcorn and a pear throughout the evening. I actually took a couple of slithers of chocolate cake. So I think I must of ate about a third of the whole cake rather than a quarter. We took dog out again.  Have been giving the dog olive oil on her dog food the last week and it's made a massive difference to her skin.

HEALTHY OCTOBER

Let's see if I can make October a healthy month.  This is the month they advertise stoptober and sober for October.  Since the baby is due the last day it would be a nice run up if I could be healthier. Also maternity leave has officially started  now. I was of sick last week and have taken maternity leave early.  I had hoped to continue up until the October holidays next week. I didn't want October hols included in maternity leave. Health is more important though.

I had bran flakes and raisins for breakfast. Husband built nursery chair. Had ham salad sandwich and sunbites for lunch. We watched the film imitation game. I had fruit woth philadelphia as a snack. Dinner was a double burger and 2 mini corn on the cob.  This is an old picture as I don't know what happened to the picture I took tonight. Had some hershey with a decaf while watching strictly.  Got in two walks today. One after dinner on phone to my mum and then with dog and husband.

Fell asleep on he couch at night while watching Josh then had a couple of glasses of non alcoholic wine.
